Vincent Gelpi, CPA

Partner

Vincent received his Associate’s degree from Suffolk Community College which he then transferred  to Briarcliffe College where he received his B.S. in Accounting.  He joined Schultheis & Panettieri, LLP in 2007.  Vincent was promoted to Partner in 2019.

Experience

Vincent’s primary responsibilities include managing audits, reviews, and compilations of Taft-Hartley benefit plans, Labor Unions, and other non-profit organizations.  He has vast experience in the preparation of governmental filings which include the 990, 5500, and LM-2 forms.  Additionally, one of his strengths is building the client relationship in which he specializes in providing accounting assistance and services for special projects such as expense allocation studies and other agreed upon procedures. 

Industry Participation

Vincent is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.

On a Personal Note

Vincent’s tremendous work ethic and blue collar mentality has been integral to his success at the firm.  Although his parents had passed away prior to starting at Schultheis and Panettieri, LLP, he credits his family with instilling these hard working values in him which have been invaluable in accomplishing personal and career goals.
