After graduating from Tufts University, Steve joined Schultheis & Panettieri, LLP in 1996 and was promoted to Managing Director in 2008.

Problem Solver

As the Managing Director of the firm’s Payroll Audit Department, Steve devotes his time to coordinating the payroll audit services for the firm’s multiemployer benefit fund clients. He is involved in all phases of the process, including developing client specific cost effective programs, maintaining the quality and accuracy of the services provided, and facilitating positive resolution of issues that arise throughout the collection process.

Steve has extensive experience working with both contributing employers and multiemployer benefit funds to resolve collection related issues. He understands the impact that effective communication can have on reaching an understanding with all interested parties.

Industry Leader

Steve is actively involved in the Collection Institute Program sponsored through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Additionally, he provides guidance and technical support regarding effective payroll audit programs to fund office staff as well as other firms providing similar services.
