Dot holds an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting from Nassau Community College and began her career in the bookkeeping department of a well-known publishing firm performing accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll functions. She was later promoted to manage their Payroll and Employee Benefits Department, a position she held for over 20 years.
In 1997, Dot joined Schultheis & Panettieri, LLP as an accounting assistant to support the firm’s audit staff by analyzing multimillion dollar investment portfolios. Dot has been the firm’s Director of Human Resources since 2000.
Dot prides herself on being available to staff. Her combined experience in accounting and human resources gives her a unique perspective on a CPA firm’s dynamics.
