Dot holds an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting from Nassau Community College and began her career in the bookkeeping department of a well-known publishing firm performing accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll functions. She was later promoted to manage their Payroll and Employee Benefits Department, a position she held for over 20 years.

In 1997, Dot joined Schultheis & Panettieri, LLP as an accounting assistant to support the firm’s audit staff by analyzing multimillion dollar investment portfolios. Dot has been the firm’s Director of Human Resources since 2000.
