Schultheis & Panettieri serves over 70 labor organizations on Long Island, in New York City, and in other cities throughout the northeast. Many of our union clients have been with us since inception. Over the years, substantially all of our union growth has come from the recommendations of our existing union client base. We believe this is largely due to our partners and staff possessing a special mix of expertise and down-to-earth personalities that put our clients at ease.
Schultheis & Panettieri has extensive experience with labor organizations in various trades. Within the building trades, we service Locals of the Operating Engineers (both hoisting and portable and stationary) , Laborers (both building and heavy highway), Carpenters, Bricklayers, and Sheet Metal workers, to name a few. Outside the building trades, but still under the AFL-CIO umbrella, we service Locals that include the Service Employees, Theatrical Workers, Transit Workers and Paper Workers. In addition to the Local unions, we service related labor organizations such as District Councils, Trade Councils, Conferences and Cooperative Trusts.
We prepare information returns (LM-2's and 990's) and audit or review financial statements throughout the year. This enables our staff to maintain maximum efficiency in servicing our clients. We rarely put clients on extension for matters under our control.

Schultheis & Panettieri also performs special projects for unions. In recent years, union consolidations, and mergers have become commonplace. We have extensive experience in handling these special situations and are often appointed as the independent accountant for a newly created union as a direct result of our knowledgeable handling of such projects.
