Vinny began his career with Schultheis & Panettieri, LLP in 1986 while attending Marist College. He graduated from Marist College and joined the firm full-time in 1989. Vinny was promoted to Partner in 1997 and Co-Managing Partner in 2005.

Building Strong Relationships

Vinny has significant experience working with labor organizations, Taft-Hartley employee benefit plans and non-profit organizations including overseeing audits, reviews, compilations, expense allocation studies, and preparation of governmental filings. He regularly attends Trustee and Executive Board meetings for employee benefit plans and labor organizations where he presents financial information, government filings, and changes affecting the industry.

Vinny is committed to providing clients with high quality service through building a strong team of qualified caring professionals. One of his roles as Co-Managing Partner is to lead the firm’s recruitment efforts to ensure the Firm recruits the best and brightest individuals to serve our clients. A genuine interest in people and his contagious enthusiasm are widely-regarded as Vinny’s best qualities.

Industry Participation

Vinny is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Vinny regularly gives seminars on current issues surrounding labor unions and employee benefit funds on topics such as, compliance with IRS and DOL filing requirements and accounting regulations.
