Peter graduated from Kings College in 1995 and joined Schultheis & Panettieri, LLP in 1997. Peter was promoted to Partner in 2007.

Hands-on Experience

Peter specializes in planning and coordinating audits of multiemployer benefit funds, labor organizations and other non-profit entities. His experience extends to reporting compliance, such as preparation of Forms 5500, 990, 990T and LM-2 as well as assistance with expense allocation studies and governmental audits and investigations. Peter also enjoys developing new relationships and making the transition a smooth process.

Peter spends most of his time in the field working with clients and guiding staff. Through a hands-on approach, he helps clients with developing, monitoring and implementing appropriate internal controls and has assisted in the merger of several labor organizations and employee benefit funds.

Knowledge Sharing

Peter is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.

Peter often gives seminars for the Officers Institute of an International Labor Union and is a frequent lecturer at Continuing Professional Education (CPE) seminars.
